Founded in 2020 by Baptiste and Bente, the 2B Policy team combines expertise in sustainability, business, policy, law, and facilitation.
Bente Bauer
CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Bente utilises her expertise in EU policy and sustainability to rethink the apparel and footwear industry. Previously she led the Sustainable Apparel Coalition’s public affairs efforts. Having a strategic and optimistic mindset Bente helps organisations and businesses to translate policy discussions into concrete actions.

CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Baptiste brings together expertise from all corners of the Apparel and Footwear ecosystem. During his days at Decathlon he supported manufacturers in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia on their sustainability journey. After 8 years of experience on the fields, he established and lead their first sustainability department.
He subsequently joined the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, launching their first office in Europe, and leading their transparency and policy activities.
Maxime van Hoeve
PUBLIC AFFAIRS COORDINATOR
Maxime has a strong motivation to work on environmental justice. Maxime currently studies Earth System Governance at the University of Utrecht. Next to her studies, Maxime serves as the Y7 EU Climate & Environment representative as part of the youth engagement group to the G7. To accelerate a systemic change through the lens of the textile industry, Maxime supports 2B Policy as the Public Affairs Coordinator. Her focus is on the EU transparency files.
Vasilis Triantafyllidis
PUBLIC AFFAIRS ANALYST
Born and raised in Athens, Vasilis holds degrees in Slavic Studies and Political Science. Before joining 2B Policy as Junior Public Affairs Analyst, he worked as a Public Affairs Intern at Randstad Global. He supports 2B Policy in analyzing and monitoring relevant EU legislative files.
Patrina Feucht
TEAM ASSISTANT
Originally from Portland Oregon, Patrina is a proverbial jack of all trades. Before moving to the Netherlands she has been a Tea Instructor, a novice chef, a fiber artist, events coordinator, dabbled as a plus-size model, and even did a short stint as a Jazz vocalist. She now works as the assistant to Baptiste and all around organizational hub for the 2B Policy team.
Marina Prados
PUBLIC AFFAIRS MANAGER
Marina has been based in Brussels for the last 6 years, but she is originally from Spain. Having a background in politics and translation, Marina worked before as a Senior Consultant on Sustainable Products and Trade. She now works as Public Affairs Manager supporting the Policy Hub. In her free time, she likes nature, animals, hiking, and ceramics.
Svenja Balkhausen
ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT COORDINATOR
Svenja grew up in a German-Danish family in Hesse, Germany. Her parents - a marine biologist and a gardener - shared their care for the environment with her from the cradle. After grassroots fundraising for an environmental NGO, Svenja studied Liberal Arts and Sciences at Leiden University. Today, she is an Environmental Project Coordinator at 2B Policy and loves exploring new foods and cultures in her downtime.
Antoine Demarche
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
Antoine is a Belgian native with 9+ years of experience assisting companies in navigating the constantly changing regulatory framework in Europe. He holds degrees in both political science and business administration. Antoine previously led the Brussels office of a public affairs consulting firm. He primarily worked with luxury goods manufacturers, as well as low-carbon energy producers.
